Parent, Pupil, Pedagogue: An Essential Relationship

1st Edition
This handbook focuses substantially on ‘Labelling Theory’, a component of the social sciences discipline as applied to social media in the school setting and its impact on the parent, pupil, and teacher relationship. It examines how labeling impacts the relationship between parents, students, and teachers in the learning process.
The narrative argues that the dispositions of the parent, pupil and teacher—the ‘Trio’, also referred to as the ‘Tripartite’ or the ‘Three’—must work together to build positive relationships. This teamwork ensures that the objectives of learning in both primary and secondary school settings are achieved efficiently and effectively.
